Privacy Policy & Cookies
Last updated: September 2026. Xorvian is committed to strict privacy protection, GDPR, and CCPA compliance.
1. Core Principle: 100% Local Processing
At Xorvian, privacy is the foundational pillar of our platform architecture. Virtually all our tools (image converters, PDF compressors & mergers, resume & invoice builders, financial calculators, regular expression testers, Base64 encoders, etc.) execute their processing algorithms locally inside your web browser using modern WebAssembly, Canvas, and client-side JavaScript.
2. Collected Data & Local Storage
We minimize data collection to the strict technical minimum required for smooth operation:
- Local preferences & history: Your favorites, tool usage history, and theme settings are saved exclusively in your device's browser LocalStorage / IndexedDB.
- User accounts (Optional): If you optionally create an account to synchronize favorites across devices, only your email address and an encrypted identifier are securely stored.
- Contact form: When you send a message via our contact form, your email address and message content are used solely to reply to your inquiry.
3. Online Advertising, Google AdSense & Third-Party Cookies
To maintain Xorvian 100% free for everyone without mandatory paywalls or subscriptions, we may partner with third-party advertising networks, specifically Google AdSense, to display advertisements.
Advertising cookies & Google DART cookies:
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including DoubleClick / DART cookies) to serve ads based on previous visits to Xorvian or other websites.
- These cookies enable Google and its certified ad network partners to serve relevant advertisements based on general browsing patterns in accordance with privacy laws.
- Users residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK are provided with a certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) allowing them to accept, decline, or customize advertising cookie preferences at any time.
Opting out of personalized advertising:
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your Google Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads or via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out portal at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
4. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and international privacy frameworks, you hold the following rights:
Request confirmation of data processed and request corrections.
Request complete deletion of your account and related records.
